It's good to hear from you again, but I'm sorry your husband isn't feeling much better yet. His counts sound pretty good--at least not low enough that he should be feeling so poorly. It's common that AA patients treated with ATG return to "low normal" counts, meaning that their counts stay on the low side of normal. I would say you husband's counts fall right in line with "low normal". Perhaps it's time to try to address his depression through medication and/or therapy. Dealing with such a serious disease can affect one's mental state as well as their physical state. Improvements in blood counts, as your husband has had, are not necessarily enough to help him overcome the fear and worries that he has been living with.
