Beth when I was going thru this with Dad I felt the same way. It is terribly hard to let go but want what is best for them. He knows you love him. He just needs to know you will be ok. If I were in his shoes I don't think I would want to continue either if it was not doing any good. We love you and stand by you thru all of it. My prayers are with you and Al during this hard time.
