enlarged spleen

Hi Kevin,
I, too, have an enlarged spleen. In fact, my doc routinely measures my speen when I go for my monthly check-ups prior to receiving Vidaza. I've experienced bleeding gums, but I have not yet noticed that my gums have receeded at all. Like you, I have had to decrease the amount of exercize I am able to do. I am a triathalete who used to spend every day either running, swimming, or biking. I still am able to exercize, but I have to take it a lot easier and skip a day or two in between workouts. Hang in there. I've found that my attitude is my best line of defense.
