Greetings to all,
I am a 64 years old U.S.Navy Vietnam veteran. I was diagnosed with Polycythemia-vera in Dec. of 2010
So far my disease has been controlled with phlebotomies and low dose aspirin. My worse side effect has been with the almost constant itching. I do take Cetirizine which seems to help some.
I would be interested in communicating with any other PV and Puritis sufferers and learning what treatments they have been doing.
I am in the process of trying to gather research to find a connection relating to exposure to Agent Orange with serving with the Brown Water Navy in the delta region of Vietnam.
My wife while doing research found this web site and encouraged me to enroll.
