Wonderful that your husband can get Vidaza through a local charity
! Too bad that you have to have high risk MDS to be eligible for the funding.
As you know the adverse effects of Vidaza often come first and the positive effects after several cycles. Be careful and try to avoid infections if his WBCs are low

Avoid everything that can decrease platelets. Especially many drugs like pain killers can decrease platelets.
