Thanks Helen... yes I have been in touch with the Leukaemia Foundation, and got together this morning with a group of people actually - and I had a lot in common with a few of them! It was great to not have to explain all the jargon that comes with all this.... because they understood.
But most of them were older people... but as I'm sure most understand, the generation gap is only a big as you make it.
So now I have made contact with them, I know how they are able support me, travelling into Melbourne etc. And I have even made some new friends!
So at the moment, things are ok.

P.S. I have heard a bit about Peter Mac from a few people today. I am happy with my Dr... but glad to know they are there if I need a 2nd opinion.
