ER Visit
Thanks for your thoughts and comments ladies. Sure helps to comfort me.
Had to take Nellie to the ER today. The discharge order from last Thursday stated I should take Nellie to the ER if bleeding did not stop. It not only did not stop but she showed signs of extremely low Hbln. Sure enough, all her counts dropped. plts down to 2,000, Hgbln 7.2 and whits 2.5.
She will stay tonight for txs and to see Dr Jordan, who placed her port, in the morning. Dr Morris will also come by in the morning. Don't know if she will be able to come home then or they will wait until the bleeding stops, completely.

Eli, husband of Nellie (64), dx 3/08 MDS RAEB-1 w/abs, 2nd BMB 9/08 after 4 cyls blast dn to .5, Vidaza reduced 50% on 11/19 after sudden drop in CBC, 8th cycle completed 12/26/08. BMB 2/09 blast 17%. Seven day Induction Therapy completed 3/23/09, Started Salvage Therapy 5/5/09. Stopped 5/8/09.
