High Levels Of Survivin And Aurora-B and MDS progression

From the MDS Beacon...

High Levels Of Survivin And Aurora-B May Be Associated With Disease Progression In MDS
by Maike Haehle

Japanese researchers recently found that high levels of the proteins survivin and aurora-B may be associated with disease progression in myelodysplastic syndromes.

Specifically, the researchers found that patients with higher-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and patients who had progressed from MDS to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) had higher levels of both proteins than patients with lower-risk disease.

For the rest, see the article at MDS Beacon.
