I'm sorry to hear about the tough time that Ron is having. I went looking for info on ABT-348, but couldn't find very much. It looks like the trial is a Phase 1 trial evaluating the safety of the drug and its effects on folks with MDS, AML, etc., assuming it's
this trial, which is the only one I can find for the drug that's linked to bone marrow diseases.
Unfortunately, I can't find any good info on how the drug is supposed to work. So I'd recommend asking the docs a few questions about how and why they think it's going to help.
