John started acupuncture and herbs in December 07. But remember, he's no longer in treatment and is considered to be in a "partial, stable remission". He's steady with 10.9 hgb, 3.2 wbc, 54K plts. He recently stopped the herbs....did not see an improvement in his counts and needed a break. Each week we'd get a new "formula" and I would brew raw herbs for him. They are not the most pleasant tasting. The acupuncture has been helpful with his energy and overall wellbeing. Over the next eight weeks, his chinese doc has expanded the needling to working on John's peripheral neuropathy to see if he can effect it.

I know others with AA that have had good responses with herbs. Many have used the formulas from www.getwellinternational.com. Most have used them post treatment though.

Hope this helps....
