long-term cyclosporing

Nadine,
It's not really the direction of your question, but I was on cyclosporine for five years. The doses were minimal (modified cyclosporine 200 mg a day) so it really wasn't enough to cause any side effects, except accellerate some facial hair growth. OK, so cosmetic, dealt with it. I'm not saying this is your answer for YOU, but what your doctor is recommending is not unrealistic or untried. You two need to evaluate your side effects to see if a balance exists.
