So sorry your dad is so ill. You were very smart to find this place, tho. Also, try the AA&MDS site.
When your dad had the heart surgery, was his blood normal then?
If so, perhaps something at the time of the surgery caused this AA, and maybe he will spontaneously get better.
I surely hope so!
