Another thought on your dad's headaches may be the cyclosporine level. I assume they are giving him cyclosporine? Are they checking the levels? It is sort of erratic at first trying to get a stable level, but if his levels are too high, a headache may be a symptom.
Also, I think I understood you to say that family members are donating blood directly to your dad. Is that what you meant? Usually that is not recommended and you might want to have your doctor verify that with the AAMDS foundation.
