The active ingredient is chloramphenicol, which is known to cause aplastic anemia, lower blood counts (red cells, white cells, and platelets), and has been reported to cause PNH as well.

I believe it was taken off the market in the U.S. for that reason, but continues to be available in Australia.

You'll need to find another type of eye drops. I'm glad you spotted that warning.
