VA response to myMDS
I saw a VA oncologist when I had MDS RAEB II. She looked at my papers and asked what I was interested in. I told her a SCT was the only cure. Her response was the waiting list for transplants was so long that I would be dead before my number came up. I had the transplant through Medicare.
The visit never showed up on my medical summary on ebenifits.
