The Washington DC March for Marrow 5K Run & Walk, a fundraising and awareness event to benefit the
AA&MDSIF, will take place on
Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Washington DC. It will be a powerful, uplifting walk and run promoting community awareness about bone marrow failure diseases and raising essential funds for AA&MDSIF patient programs and services.
The event is dedicated to Richard Wallace Carr, who died of aplastic anemia in 2010.
The event will include:

You can
register for the event and/or
donate to one of the fundraising teams. Please help spread the word about this fundraiser. 100% of all donations through go directly to the AA&MDSIF.
Onsite registration begins at 6:00am. The 5K Run starts at 7:00am and the Walk at 7:30am, after welcoming comments. The program will continue afterward and end with a farewell at 9:15am.
The registration fee is $35 per person for the Walk and/or $35 for the 5K Run. Virtual Walkers (supporters who won't be at the event) are the same price: $35.
Each Walker and Virtual Walker is encouraged to set a personal fundraising goal and invite friends and family members to sponsor you online.
