Hi Pennydog,
It doesn't sound like you're being treated very well by your doctor.
Where are you based?
In the UK there's a strategy in place to ensure suspected cancer patients are seen & treated within certain time limits.
I don't think it would be unreasonable of you to phone the doctors office & chase them up for some answers.
