IPSS

Hi Whizbang,
Thanks for posting your story. It is interesting that your counts and blast count improved so much even before the Dacogen. Also the splenomegaly is interesting. I am curious as to what your IPSS score is and what your chromosomal abnormalities are?? I am just wondering why they are recommending BMT if counts are improving unless you have poor prognostic signs with your chromosomes or genetic markers and therefore a high IPSS score. Thanks and good luck. tytd
