Since Aranesp and Neupogen are both Hematopoietic Growth Factors (stimulating red blood cells and white blood cells respectively), they are often prescribed together when you have both anemia and leukopenia. Oddly enough, Neupogen often stimulates hemoglobin as well as neutrophils (a nice side affect). These are prescribed briefly on my
