The normal range for platelets is 150,000 to 450,00. When a lab says 28 - 35 I assume it means 28,000 - 35,000. Your platelets at 136,000 are low at just below the normal range but not critical. Are they trending down? Did they suddenly drop? Or are they trending up after treatment? What the labs mean in your particular case can be many things...
