Your experience matches ours.

After ATG my wife was exhausted much of the time. She'd rest on the sofa, come to the dinner table and eat most of a meal, but be unable to finish because she had to head back to the sofa.

There was a slight incline in the walkway at the front of the hospital building and she told me it felt like a mountain to climb.

The fatigue gets better as you do. These days we joke about the mountain when we walk up that incline.
