Yes and the doctor's told me the same, only because it has been 4 months since transfusions. I also heard that too many transfusions can lead to organ damage and graft host rejection. This is why it is important to get them only if necessary at this time period. They mentioned that platelets can actually rise in one or two days and that is what happened.
