Are you taking extra salt but you have low potassium? Salt & potassium need to be in balance. It's not good to have one high and the other one low (if that is the case).
I have some experience with high potassium & low sodium and low range of normal bicarbonate. I take extra salt and baking soda every day, but you have to be careful with electrolytes as messing one up can affect your heart.
