The difference though is that John was either in the hospital or being seen as an outpatient daily. So his blood was drawn daily and they would give IV potassium and magnesium if needed. So please err on the side of caution.

With John, they did not want to do any invasive procedure since he had no white count. We were in race with time. They knew once his counts kicked in, things would resolve so they put off as much as they could but in the end, they needed to address the fluid that built up around his lungs and heart. Lasix only took him so far.
