Hello, Rowan Co member
I'm a couple-3 hours from you in the southern mountains of NC, but I do have relatives in Rowan Co-Spencer, Salisbury as well as Lexington & Winston-Salem. Always wanting to meet members who are dealing with MDS. I am a member of an AA/MDS Community of Hope Support Group in Asheville/Hendersonville area!

66 yr female;diag 6/09; MDS, unspecified, normal cytogenetics: blasts 10%; successful Dacogen;every 4th wk.; as of Aug.'12 changing to every 5th wk., stable at Hgb 12-14/platelets 200-300/wbc 2.-3.
