On Sunday, June 8, 2008, JoAnn and Don Yahn of Churchville, NY will host the 10th Annual Chicken Barbecue and Benefit Auction honoring their daughter, Torry, and two other girls--Brianna Johnson and Ashlee Tellie--who lost their lives to aplastic anemia.
Over the past decade, the Yahns have contributed over $200,000 to the
Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation to fund research to find effective prevention, treatments, and cures for bone marrow failure diseases. This year's goal is to raise $30,000 for the Torry Yahn Research Study fund.
