Dan, I can relate to that. My doctor said the same, due to my "young" age (I'm 53, what about you?) & thrombocytopenia is my only sympton, BMB was not done. But my mum had MDS/AML, still he thinks BMB is needed if there's a change in symptons or I'm a bit older. I'm wary & try to find out more about MDS in the meantime.
