Yes, I agree. I also believe microbes are the cause of autoimmune & chronic diseases. I don't believe anyone really truly knows what a good microbial balance is yet, because they have only just begun to discover how to detect bacteria that can't be cultured, by using DNA sequencing, and it is only now starting to become affordable. Plus, the microbiome is different from one person to the next, so what works for one or some may not work for everyone. Hopefully studies like that will find some answers!
