After over 10 years of maintaining the AA-MDS-TALK listserv, the email-based discussion group for patients with aplastic anemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, listserv founder Vince Wessling has announced that the listserv is closed as of today. The
Marrowforums website and forums continue what AA-MDS-TALK began: supporting AA, MDS, and PNH patients, family members, and caregivers and providing a place for them to discuss the issues they face and to support each other.
Mr. Wessling encourages AA-MDS-TALK members to join
Marrowforums, where he serves as a site administrator, along with long-time listserv member Ruth Cuadra and her husband, site operator Neil Cuadra.
Listserv members will find it easy to join using instructions on the
AA-MDS-TALK Welcome page and can
contact the administrators if they have any questions or problems. Forum registration is free. Registered members can post questions and comments in the forums and read the AA-MDS-TALK archive.
Many patients have expressed gratitude to Mr. Wessling for his dedicated efforts on their behalf over the years. His leadership at
Marrowforums continues those efforts.
