AAMAC National Patient Support Group

In these difficult times, AAMAC is here for you. You may be alone in your home, but you are not alone in facing AA, MDS or PNH during a pandemic.

New Virtual support group
Find support from the comfort of your own home. AAMAC is offering a monthly virtual meeting to give and get support from others who understand what you’re going through. Being part of a community helps us feel less isolated especially when dealing with a rare disease. Meetings are facilitated by our regional coordinators.

What to expect at a support group meeting?
Build connections through group discussions, share stories and coping methods, compare notes and learn how others are responding to treatments. In these meetings, patients and caregivers come together in a safe environment to share and learn from one another and access various resources through AAMAC.

Feeling camera shy? That’s okay! Sharing your computer/phone camera for the meeting is completely optional. There is also an option to call in to the meeting.

Meetings will be held on the first Saturday of each month from 2pm—4pm (Eastern Time).

Our next meeting will be on Saturday December 5, 2020

To register:
  • email info@aamac.ca; or
  • call 1-888-840-0039 and leave a message.

Patients, caregivers and health care professionals are welcome to join.
