The 2nd Annual San Antonio Hope, Steps & A Cure Walk and 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, March 24 in San Antonio, TX. This is the first time a 5K run is being held in conjunction with the walk. There will also be a raffle, door prizes, light refreshments, inspirational speakers, and a chance to connect with fellow patients and families.

Come to the walk/run and help raise awareness and funds for the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF), which works tirelessly on behalf of families affected by a bone marrow failure diseases. You can register for the events, ask family members and friends to sponsor you, or even volunteer to help!

The following day (Sunday, March 25) there will be a brunch at the Marriott Plaza San Antonio, with medical professionals invited to speak. Paid reservations are required.

Run/walk location:

The Park at the Historic Pearl Brewery (Google map)
200 East Grayson Street, San Antonio, TX 78215

Route: along the scenic part of the San Antonio Riverwalk area known as "The Museum Reach-Urban Segment of the San Antonio River"

Schedule:

7:00am: 5K registration begins

8:00am: 5K walk/run

9:30am: Hope, Steps & A Cure Walk registration begins

10:30am: Hope, Steps & A Cure walk

Registration:

Sign up for the 5K run/walk on the 5K registration page. 5K run/walk registration is $25 per person through Tuesday, March 20, and $30 from March 21 to March 24.

Sign up for the Hope, Steps & A Cure walk on the walk registration page. Walk registration is $25 per person and for "virtual walkers" (supporters not attending but walking in spirit).
