MDS---Disability?
I was wondering how many people are on disability with their MDS? I was diagnoised with MDS 5Q- in June 09, I currently am still working but find it hard to continue on with every day activity that I was previously doing. I want to continue to work but I also want to be able to do things with my family! My doctors always ask "Are you still working?" I don't want MDS to rob me of my life, should I quit work and rest the best I can so that my family gets the best of me, not work. Thank you in advance for any comments you may have. Best wishes to EVERYONE dealing with MDS.

Have you checked on dissability eligibility?
You might check with Social Security Administration. If you don't get satisfaction, check with a legal specialist in social security. Most of them work on percentage with no fees up front.
Don't know if you've been through this with others or not.
