GVHD can have an antitumor benefit

Hi all,
GVHD can have a positive effect too. "GVHD does appear to have a significant antitumor benefit, often termed a graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effect. Relapse rates in patients who develop GVHD are considerably lower compared with rates in patients who do not develop this complication after transplantation".
