NRBCs
I just noticed that my last blood test results showed NRBCs were present. I Googled it and found out it is the red cell version of blasts.
My questions are...are they of the same significance as blast cells? My doctor didn't mention them and I didn't get my copy of the results until I was leaving day care. Could this be why he seems to prefer Vidaza as my treatment option? Hope you're all feeling well.

Nucleated red blood cell counts
Hi Chirley,
As far as I understand NRBCs in adults indicate a condition producing haemopoietic (the fabrication of blood) stress such as severe infection, hypoxia (not enough oxygen) or massive acute bleeding.
