platelets post SCT
Does anyone know-- if you are alloimmunized prior to your transplant and require HLA matched platelets, will you still have the same problem or will your new stem cells and new immune system allow you to accept your transfusions? I am going in for a TP this Sept 2010 and hope that I won't have the same difficulties during this vulnerable time. Any input from some transplant survivors?
