Hello Everyone, first post, been undergoing IV Vidaza treatment since last November, scheduled for BMT as soon as all obstacles/infections are gone. Thankfully, my sister is a perfect match. Had all my teeth removed 2 weeks ago (years of gum diesease) and now waiting for a spot (non malignant) on my lung to disappear. Had to wait about 10 weeks between cycle 6 and 7 of Vidaza because of teeth and lung spot detection. Now started again with 50% of prior dosage and going to a 5 day cycle instead of a 7 day cycle. WBC 1.7 RBC 2.4 HCT 24 PLT 14 Blasts 10 with a new BMB in 2 weeks. It has been two weeks since restarting Vidaza......question with the 10 week layoff, is it like starting the Vidaza treatment all over again?
