Bone pain from Neulasta
Hello everyone,
Starting next wednesday Sept. 29 I will be getting treated with Two Growth Factors First aranesp every two weeks which I had before, but this time I'm also going to receive Neulasta shot once every 4 weeks. Can anyone tell me how to deal with the Bone pain from the Neu.? I've read that it could be servere God Bless all of US Vince |

John never had bone pain from the white blood cell growth factors. I think the better it works, meaning that the growth factor is really stimulating and producing lots of white cells, then the potential for the bone pain side effect is greater. And since you are only getting it once a month, it probably lessens your risk. John was getting it daily for a while then 3x/week, then 2x/week.
I wouldn't worry about it at this point but if it does happen, you doc can give you something for it. I know some have used morphine for the pain.
