Procrit and Epogen recall

Most of you are probably on the AA&MDSIF's email list and have already seen this, but for those of you that aren't, Amgen has announced a voluntary recall of CERTAIN LOTS of Procrit and Epogen:

http://www.industrymailout.com/Indus...6263&qz=0a73d0

This will tell you which lots are being recalled:

http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm227202.htm

They say that so far there have been no reports of anyone being adversely affected, but if you have vials from any of those lots, it's probably better to be safe than sorry.

They don't say whether the recall involves reimbursement or not. That stuff is expensive!!!!
