Thanks for posting this, Birgotta, that's great news that the appeal worked!
(Also, I had no idea there were only 700 of us MDS patients in the whole of England and Wales - I swear I see more than that just in the Kings HOP!)

For those who don't know, NICE is the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, formerly the National Institute for Clinical Excellence, in the U.K.
NICE makes recommendations to the NHS (National Health Service, NHS Scotland, and NHS Wales). |

Hi Karen,
Yes, I read a post from a member from the UK that got her Vidaza paid by special sponsors but she had to have high risk disease to get the drug free. Kind regards Birgitta-A |
