Vidaza + EPO drugs

Hi slip up 2,
Vidaza can be combined with EPO drugs. I have 5 abstracts about trials with Vidaza + EPO drugs. The results seem to be better for high risk patients. Do you want info about high or low risk patients?
Kind regards
Birgitta-A

Vidaza + EPO drugs

Hi slip up 2,
The first study has very few patients - only ten - but a response rate of 60%.
http://ash.confex.com/ash/2010/webpr...aper28898.html

The second study is retrospective - they started to look at patients after treatment - and found that 44% of EPO and 29% of no-EPO patients reached hematologic improvement.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22177456

EPO drugs can be positive for high risk MDS patients.
Kind regards
Birgitta-A
