Any info on Rituxin in MDS ITs effective waldenstrom macroglobulinemia

I haven't seen any real studies on rituxan for MDS. I can tell you that i had 8 cycles of rituxan prior to being diagnosed with MDS (I was being treated for ITP) and it did not have any positive impact on my blood counts. Rituxan targets a specific set of proteins on cells that are not normally found in MDS patients as far as I know.

MDS RCMD w/grade 2-3 fibrosis. Allo-MUD Feb 26, 2014. Relapsed August 2014. Free and clear of MDS since November 2014 after treatment with Vidaza and Rituxan. Experiencing autoimmune attack on CNS thought to be GVHD, some gut, skin and ocular cGVHD. Neuropathy over 80% of body.
