Significance of MCV/MCH
What significant role MCV/MCH/MCHC have in MDS. When physician started the initial treatment in Nov / Dec’2010 he said he was more concerned with high number of MCV compare to low Hb which further lead to the diagnosis of MDS. Dad's latest blood test on 01st of April, 2013 shows that MCV/MCH/MCHC have become normal though towards the end of the scale. This has happened for the first time ever. But RDW still remains high. Does this change has any clinical significance?
