Has anyone tried Xango (mangosteen) juice or
Has anyone tried eating potatoes to improve white blood cell count? I am trying these things now but it is too early to tell. I heard about Xango from this guy at the gym and I heard about eating potatoes for WBC from googling.

Hi,
did you come to try the mangosteen? I found references about it for blood diseases. However it is not very easy to find I suppose, but I very nearly bougth the plant... It seems to be a very healthy fruit anyway like most natural fruit tends to be. |

I bought it at a health food store where i live. it seemed to work the first time but then the second time it seemed not to help... I just juice only now. If it works please let us know!!!!!!

I don't know but I read that carbs are not that good for this condition. Yogurt, milk and eggs also have negative effects but I did hear about dark green vegetables. You should try juicing. I find it dull so I am going to add berries and wipcream. This will not make the juice taste as dull. You can add carrots, dark green vegetables and pomegranate juice to the veggie mix. Pomegranate juice is good for your cells. Orange juice and vitamin C is supposed to maintain platelets. I must say I have some shopping to do and that makes me nervous about catching a virus. I read in the news that many people have viruses now. Berries protect against these viruses. That is as long as they are cooked. Either way it is not good to eat anything from the ground without heating it or washing it really well. I decided to by frozen berries and to wash veggies thoroughly as told by a specialist. The first thing they mentioned is no raw fish of any kind or buffets because they are breeding places for bacteria. I do hope eating these veggies raw are fine but I heard it is better to boil them to avoid internal bleeding. I decided to juice them instead and I can't wait to start this diet. I tried it for two days and my blood raised a bit. I heard a woman on this site juiced and it helped her. Either way fruits and veggies are the way. Carrots are really good for you also. Apples are good. I hear people talking about pineapples on the forum too. Good luck.

Mangosteens are delicious. I don't know if they'd be helpful or not, but since they are native to southeast asia maybe try an asian market.

Xango juice is like a supplement which is also available in our place. They say it help us to be healthy and can fight cancer at the same time but I do not yet personally tested the product as it is not that cheap. Mangosteen is a good fruit, very delicious and at the same time nutritious for us to eat.

Hi,,,,,, I never cook my fruits and veggies,, I buy them organic and eat them raw. I have also eaten sashimi (raw fish) several times since I have been sick. I can't have the whip cream because it goes against the alternative therapy I am on right now. I find if I add pineapple or apples to my veggie juices it flavors it up a bit. I also do a lot of carrot apple juices. raw fruits and veggies will not give you problems as long as they are organic. conventional grown fruits and veggies are the ones with the superbugs that keep evolving and they need round-up to kill.. trust me they won't tear up your insides.. i have eaten bowls of sprouted mung beans before and no internal bleeding. But I stopped cause the sprouts take my body too much energy to digest. I completely stopped the mango steen juice. I tried it again a second time and realized there are too many preservatives and sugar in it to take into my body right now with AA. I remember seeing you bought the book on conquer low platelets,, good book except it recommends processed foods sometimes. That was one bad thing I noticed about it. Thank you for your advice though,,,=-)
