1 year birthday!

Just wanted to share that today (12/13/13) is my 1 year re-birthday, and it is a wonderful feeling. So much has happened in a year since my BMT, and I am also glad to share my new birthday date with my mother, who was not able to be here for me throughout my illness.

I am not happy that MDS happened to me, but I am happy of what this experience has done for me. To be more mindful, appreciative, kind, careful. It really has changed me to be a new person.

I wish all the other group members to hopefully someday feel the gratitude and joy what I felt today. Keep your faith and trust in recovery!

Tii - 37 yrs, MDS, T-cell leukemia, BMT sister donor.

Thumbs up

Congratulations and Happy Birthday and many many more. I know your feeling of changing your feeling of importance in your life. Although this is not something I would wish on anyone, what you can get from the journey can be life changing. I know it has been for my husband and I.
Continued healing on your life journey.
