Cyclosporine and fluid intake

How much fluid does your doctor want you to drink while your on Cyclosporine? When your tired of water and tea, what other low calorie fluids are healthy? Seems everything is either full of sugar or artificial sweetener.

I've been trying to increase my fluid intake so I've just been having a twist of lime or lemon in sparkling mineral water. Very refreshing!

There are cucumbers, watermelon, soups...
Does anyone drink Nettle Tea? It is supposed to be good for kidney cleansing and my son actually likes it.

Thank you for your responses. How much fluid intake do you try to get per 24 hours? Is Gatorade acceptable?

I think it's just depends on various factors. Weight, CsA dosage, but mostly on labs (Creatinine). My son aims for at least a gallon daily plus any other food choices that are hydrating. We just try to monitor this as best as we can, but usually see-saw.
BTW, I sound like a broken record always asking if he's been drinking enough Sad, but true
