We monitor the Marrowforums forums every day to weed out ads and advertisers and to watch for suspicious activity, so that you can use the forums for their intended purposes without interference.

Forum members help us in various ways:

• by alerting us if they see any ads or suspicious posts that slipped through.
• by replying if they get an automated forum email saying that someone has tried to log into their account.
• by letting us know if another forum member sends them a suspicious Private Message, such as one that seems to be selling something.
• by alerting us to any other forum problems they encounter.

If you see an ad or a suspicious post

Click the triangle icon above the post and type a message to us, explaining what you saw. We'll take care of it. You won't necessarily get a reply from us, but we appreciate the help.


If you get an email saying that your account has been locked after 5 failed password attempts

What to do depends on whether you were the one trying to log in.

If you have been trying to log in:

Reset your password. See the instructions.

If you have NOT been trying to log in:

Somebody may have been trying to guess your password. Please let us know by replying to the message and telling us that you weren't the one trying to log in, so we can investigate. If you don't have a strong password then we suggest changing it. See the instructions.

If you get a suspicious Private Message or have any other forum problem
