Please do pursue the nutritional/environmental path. Hopefully you have a good GP that will do some of the basic testing. There are also doctors who specialize in environmental medicine should you need further investigation. But knock out the easy stuff first. Get copies of all your labs. Believe it or not, you may get high/lows on results that your doc misses or dismisses so it's good have the results so you can keep track of things. There's lots of info on nutrition scattered throughout this site too.

Depending on how much fish and the type you are eating, an increase in heavy metals is possible especially mercury.

Yeah I do have all my labs and looking over them. I also noticed my protein levels have been showing a similar decline. As far as fish goes, we mostly eat salmon. Also, my wife has been tested for mercury in the past few years and checked ok.

Also, my alt, ast are good.
