unknown diagnosis!

My son is 15 years old and has mildly decreased WBC and RBC. He has had 4 bone marrow biopsies which shows 30% cellularity. He has a history of anemia and has had several iron infusions. Since the last infusion. His iron. Has reminded in the normal range. He has had genetic testing completed for the bone marrow failure syndromes with no abnormalities shown. He has remained healthy to date with no major sickness or infection. As of right now no one can tell us what is causing his decreased bone marrow cellularity. Any input or ideas on what Avenue I should be taking would be greatly appreciated. We hear watch and wait often and I'm not exactly sure what we are watching and waiting for. Thank you in advance for any advice.

I have noticed from my experience is that there are not always the clear cut answers that most of us want. It is important to be very vigilant about our particular situation. Knowledge is so important. I wish all of you the best.
