very glad to hear the chemo did it's job

Tracey,

very glad that you got some good news after chemo

my father has recently been diagnosed with MDS and it's already progressed to AML with 40% blasts.
he is scheduled to start chemo (Dacogen) next week

I'm praying that he also has some success at knocking out the blasts.

I wish you well.

Matt

maggiemag this note is for you. Pardon me but I could not find a way to write you directly and I can't seem to find a way to make my contact information available. I was just diagnosed with exactly what you were originally diagnosed with, and we are about the same age. The doctor I will see every three months has focused on MDS for years and told me watch and wait, just like you. The only blood issue now is my hemoglobin, which is still over 11. I presume that level can change at any time. I need a little help putting all this in perspective.
