hi my iron overload from transfusions every 7 weeks is n ow 4658 and i need to get it down. dose any one know when it will be released in Australia .Or can i get on the clinical treal and how do i do that??thanks

There's a 2011 article about iron overload treatment in Australia here. The abstract can also be found here.
The report is focused on anaemias but refers to the common treatments with deferasirox (Exjade and Jadenu), deferiprone (Ferriprox), and desferrioxamine. If an approved medicine isn't available, you can search for Australian and New Zealand Clinical trials here. |

Exjade is available now on PBS. Just need your Doc to prescribe it.

Naive
Hi any news of any recent developments of Jadenu being released?? I cant take exjade due to bowel hemoraggeing...My count is pretty high..i may have to look at other methods has any one any ideas??marylee-jane
